Privacy Policy — Sense of Wonder
Last updated: August 9, 2026
Sense of Wonder is made by Tardan (Adam Tardy). This policy explains what the game stores, why, and how to get rid of it.
You can play without an account.
When you first open the game we create an anonymous identifier so your progress can be saved and restored. It is not linked to your name, your email or your device's advertising identifier — there is no advertising identifier in this game at all.
If you choose to sign in.
Linking an account is optional and always your move. You can use Sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address and password. We do this so your progress follows you to a new device. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose "Hide My Email", Apple gives us a relay address — we never see your real one.
What we store.
- Your save: levels completed, stars, attempts, hints owned, in-game currencies, cabinet contents, ship, settings.
- Basic account activity: when you first opened the game, when you last opened it, how many times, and which platform.
- If you allow notifications: a push token, so we can send the reminder you asked for.
- Daily aggregate counters: session length and count.
This is stored with Google Firebase (Firestore), and a copy is kept on your device.
Analytics.
We record gameplay events with Firebase Analytics — a level started, a level completed, a hint used, a purchase started. These carry content identifiers such as a level id, never anything you have typed.
Purchases.
In-app purchases are handled by RevenueCat and by Apple. We pass RevenueCat your anonymous identifier so your purchases stay attached to your account. Apple never shares your payment details with us.
What we do not do.
No advertising. No third-party tracking SDKs. No IDFA and no App Tracking Transparency prompt. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising. We never ask for your location, contacts, microphone, camera or photos.
Children.
The game is rated 4+ and contains nothing unsuitable, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Deleting everything.
In the game: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your save and your account, and revokes the game's Apple sign-in token. You can also write to contact@adamtardy.com and we will do it for you.
Your rights.
If you are in the EU or the UK, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Write to contact@adamtardy.com.
Changes.
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
